Operation deep clean

In a country where this is usually the closest you'll get to a vacuum cleaner, we managed to borrow one today and start 'operation deep clean'. Over the next three hours, Val managed to suck up 5kg of dust from the four carpeted rooms. It would have been quicker but every five minutes she had to stop so we could empty the bag and clean the filter which was clogged like I've never seen before.

Vacuuming is now complete and we've suggested not waiting five years until the next time.
